Why?
Inspired by the famed fyre festival, satyre festival is a satirical experience for the audience to enjoy the oddity and comedy of a festival gone sour. The audience will experience all the fun of a normal local music festival with great food and great fun but with a twist of comical embrace of festival fopauxs and shortfalls. The Audience is encouraged to complain on social media #satyrefest as we create a safe and fun entertainment environment.
All festival staff, vendors, entertainers, food servers are encouraged to embrace the satirical themes of “corporate satire” (AKA restrained satire language and action as festival staff that is not overly inappropriate but still maintains corporate professionalism and maintaining respect for the festival audience but not shying away from being really really really intentionally bad at their job.
